of what we will be offering you during this visit.
Dr. Yang and his staff will ask you what you are looking for in terms
of orthodontic treatment. Your family dentist may have informed you
of certain problems, and we would like to hear more about your past
dental and medical histories.
If you did not receive our Patient Information/Medical History Form,
please come in ten (10) minutes prior to your appointment time to fill
out this form. This will help us to provide the most comprehensive care
for you.
It is our desire to fulfill your orthodontic needs both thoroughly and
efficiently. The initial appointment is spent conducting an examination,
reviewing a clinical diagnosis and discussing a treatment plan. This
appointment is a courtesy service and there is no fee or obligation
on your part.
Your orthodontic treatment will include the use of a completely digital
X-ray machine. This upgrade from the conventional X-ray machine has
been made to ensure that our patients receive state-of-the-art care
that they expect from our office.
The advantages of a digital X-ray machine versus a conventional film-based
X-ray machine include:
- Clearer, sharper, digital images that ensure accurate readings
- Substantially (50%-70%) less radiation exposure
to our patients
- Instant images with no need to wait for film processing
- Computerized images for fast review, retrieval and duplication
